Welcome to the 7th edition of Futuristic Learning with Bomo. Today’s newsletter is sponsored by my love for all of you.
I’ll admit it. I’m a Sci-Fi junkie but the truth is I can no longer hide who I am from the world. Unlike the famous fictional superheroes who are afraid to reveal their identity, I’m here to give a press statement about mine:
I have telepathic powers …
… and I only found out about this when I was a teenager. It’s the typical origin story, yunno. I was sent to this planet as a baby, crash-landed in the Dambo family, discovered my powers here on Earth, and accepted my destiny to use my powers for the benefit of mankind, until the day I return to my home planet.
So, about my telepathic powers. You’re probably doubting whether this is actually true or if I’m just making up stuff. It’d be totally normal for you to doubt me, of course. Humans have a bit of an issue believing the extraordinary. But give me a little chance and I’ll prove it to you.
In fact, I think Stephen King, the famous and prolific author of over 60 full-length novels and 200 short stories gives a perfect description of this power I possess:
“Telepathy, of course. It’s amusing when you stop to think about it—for years people have argued about whether or not such a thing exists—and all the time it’s been right there, lying out in the open like Mr. Poe’s The Purloined Letter. All the arts depend upon telepathy to some degree, but I believe that writing offers the purest distillation.”
In simple words, the art of writing is a process of transferring an image (or thought) from my mind to the mind of a reader. When you read my words, you’re basically hearing my thoughts or seeing the images I see.
See? Telepathy!
This power gives me the ability to reach you at any point in time and any place in the world. I mean, I’m writing this on a Tuesday morning in the cold city of Ottawa, Canada. This is where I’m currently transmitting my thoughts and you’re probably receiving this information at a different time and maybe in a different country. I don’t even have to move my lips or see you. I feel the power rush!!
In the last edition of this newsletter, I talked about the lost art of reading and how many people now find it hard to read and gain deep knowledge. Concerning this whole concept of telepathy, what’s even more amazing is that as a reader you have access to the thoughts of many great minds, even the great minds of the past. It’s surreal when you think about it. In the same way, Christians who read the Bible have access to the mind of God. This is how they know what God thinks about them.
I want to encourage you today to read more, learn more, and grow. Tap into this reservoir of knowledge wealth that only readers have access to.

It’s truly surreal to connect to the minds of others through their words
